Built from a family's real problems
Sarthi was born from a real problem. Our family spans four countries — Australia, India, United States, and Singapore. We manage business entities, legal cases, health matters for aging parents, shared assets, tax filings across jurisdictions, and insurance policies in multiple currencies.
No single system tracked it all. We used Google Calendar for appointments, scattered banking apps for finances, WhatsApp for coordination, ad-hoc Claude conversations for research, expensive advisors for compliance, and spreadsheets for everything else. Things slipped through. The mental load was unsustainable. Family members had no shared visibility.
We looked at existing tools. Cozi and Maple handle calendars and meals. Monarch and PocketSmith handle personal finance. Medisafe handles medications. But none cross domains. Family office software from Asset Vantage or Nines serves ultra-wealthy families at $500-2,000+ per month. Nothing existed for middle-class cross-border families like ours.

Sarthi is the Sanskrit word for charioteer — the skilled guide who navigates complex terrain. In the Mahabharata, Krishna served as Arjuna's sarthi, providing wisdom and direction through life's most challenging battles.
